The purpose of the website is to provide access to selected sermons, conferences, articles, book notices and reviews, bibliographies, seminars and other assorted trivia. It is offered with the hope these materials will be helpful for the work of the Kingdom in the world. I am especially interested in making this available to present and former students, particularly those from Burma/Myanmar, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Africa, Europe and the United Kingdom.
The header of the page is the top of the facade of the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London, England. I am honored beyond measure for the opportunity to minister in the heritage of Keach, Gill, Rippon, Spurgeon and the current pastor of the Tabernacle, Dr. Peter Masters.
Dr. James Grier received his ThB from Baptist Bible College, MDiv from Grace Theological Seminary, ThM from Westminster Theological Seminary, and ThD from Grace Theological Seminary. From 1962–1969 he served as Associate Professor at Cedarville University; from 1969–1982 he served as Vice President and Dean of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.
Dr. Grier is currently a Distinguished Professor at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. His research interests include medical ethics and ministry in a postmodern culture. Jim and his wife, Shirley, have one adult son who teaches Political Economy at Oklahoma University. Dr. Grier enjoys teaching in Asia, Europe, and the UK; doing conference ministry; and reading
widely.
